Shandong Huitian New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has signed a formal supply contract with a major building materials buyer in Bangladesh to deliver 100,000 pieces of its fifth‑generation color stone coated metal roof tiles. This is the company’s single largest export order so far this year.

The roof tiles will be used for residential compounds and public building projects across multiple locations in Bangladesh. After comparing metal roof products from several countries, the Bangladeshi customer chose Huitian mainly for its high‑corrosion‑resistant aluminum‑zinc plated steel substrate and sintered natural color sand surface. They believe these features — particularly anti‑aging, crack resistance, and long‑lasting color — are well suited to Bangladesh’s hot, rainy, and strongly seasonal windy climate.

“The customer visited our factory twice and took samples back for wind load and weather resistance tests,” said the head of Huitian’s foreign trade department. “Our tiles passed 70°C high‑temperature, acid‑alkali rain, and -30°C freeze‑thaw cycle tests. Wind resistance exceeds Grade 15, and the surface sand is colored using a high‑temperature ceramic baking process, with a 50‑year color retention guarantee. These hard indicators played a key role in winning the bid.”

Beyond performance, the buyer also cared about installation efficiency and fire safety. Huitian’s fifth‑generation tiles feature a self‑locking design, are lightweight, and enable fast construction. They also meet Class‑A non‑combustible fireproof standards, effectively blocking high temperatures and open flames.

The first batch is already in production and is expected to be shipped by vessel early next month. Huitian said Southeast and South Asia are the company’s key target markets this year, and the Bangladesh order provides a solid foundation for further promotion in neighboring countries.
